Winning rider Pietro Moran sticks and he is likely to feature in the finish again. PET SOUNDS (7) started at 3/1 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 6½f at this track. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CALUSA DONNIE (2) finished midfield at his first run back from a lay-off last start, beaten 9 lengths over 1m at this track. Commendable record at this trip with a win and five minor placings and is expected to be competitive. PATROLMAN (3) finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Likely improver with strong prospects.
