SILVER SMOKE (5) is back from a lay-off of eight months. Closed last campaign with a minor placing over 1m1/2f at this track. Expect him to play a major role. SAMMY STONE (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 14 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when tenth over 6½f at this track, beaten 12 lengths. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. FABELMAN (7) finished third last start over 7f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. This is a more suitable contest and can get the job done. KINGSCOTE (6) finished fourth when fresh from a break over 1m1/2f at this track, 4 lengths from the winner. Tackles a turf track for the first time. Will strip much fitter and is in the mix on best figures.
