READ ON (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m at Gulfstream Park. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. WINSTON BLUE (9) finished third at this track and distance at his last appearance six months ago. Sure to make his presence felt. FIGHTER IN THE WIN (7) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 5 lengths, over 7½f at Gulfstream Park (Turf). Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. STEAK AND CHEESE (8) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 1m1/2f at this track five months ago. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One of the better hopes.
