ADDABAR (4) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with a win over 1m1 1/2f at this track six weeks ago, getting home by 5 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he can win again. CAPE EAGLE (5) is a seven-time winner who has been racing in great heart, scoring by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1m3/4f at Scottsville. Races well here and is a serious contender. MEXICAN PETE (9) is a talented colt who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 12 lengths behind Purple Pitcher over 1m in the G2 Dingaans at Turffontein Standside. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Sure to be competitive. Group 2 placegetter IMILENZEYOKUDUDUMA (8) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Scottsville, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter so can feature in the finish.
