ZETALYN (10) led into the straight last start over 7f21yards at Flemington but could not sustain the pressure and finished seventh. Should be poised just off the lead. Best figures should see her run well. KING NEPTUNE (6) missed the frame when resuming but looks ready to win now after two straight placings, the latest over 6½f at Bendigo. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Leading contender. PRECAST (9) hit the frame two starts ago at Bairnsdale but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 5f120yards at Moe after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable assignment and can bounce back. ELLESSTHREE (11) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Cootamundra, beaten 7 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
