MA SHANTOU (5) was off the mark at the second attempt at Huntingdon two runs back tackling a 2m jumpers flat event running 6.5L clear in March before struggling among G2 company at Aintree. Back down in standard and can improve. Respect after a break. VAGUELY ROYAL (8) showed a good level of ability on the flat including a fair 1m6f fifth at Goodwood two runs ago.
