MERRY MORE (3) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 4½f at Queanbeyan. Can improve sharply. PHAROSE (1) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish fourth over 5f at Queanbeyan. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. WEGOTABETTERHOFFA (8) failed to threaten on debut last start, finishing in the second half of the field and 9 lengths from the winner over 5f at Canberra. Better for that experience and expected to be competitive. WINNIE (5) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff she finished fourth over 7f at this track. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
