PECOS (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 7½f at this track, beaten only 2 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. NANARUP (8) is yet to break through after four career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Northam two starts back when resuming before finishing ninth over 7½f at Pinjarra last time. Cannot be left out of calculations. ROCKIN' THE SILKS (1) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m at this track, beaten only 0.7 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. PILBARA SONG (2) has been in the money six times including last start on December 13 when second over 5f at Pinjarra Scarpside. Goes well here with three top-three finishes to his credit. Can measure up.
