SYCAMORE (7) has been in the money at both runs this time in, the latest effort a third over 7½f at this track. Should appreciate the extra ground. Big chance to break through. ROCKET SCIENTIST (3) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.4 lengths from the winner in third over 1m at Moonee Valley. Has the class to figure prominently. PARIS AFFAIR (4) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when seventh over 1m at Caulfield, beaten 4 lengths. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. CHASE DE ACE (12) lines up on the back of a 5 length fifth over 1m at Cranbourne. One of the main contenders.
