COSMIC LAD (11) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on August 17 finishing eighth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 7½f at Rosehill. Now under the care of new trainer Anthony Cummings. Comes here with definite claims. SPANISH FOX (3) scored by 3 lengths last start at Randwick Kensington over 6¼f after he was in contention on the bend. Is yet to miss the frame from five starts at this distance, including three wins. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. RAPBIDASH (9) resumed over 6½f at Randwick Kensington last start and could only manage fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths. Leading chance on best form. RESTONICA (10) built on a nice second when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Newcastle with a win as favourite over 6f at Newcastle two-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
