TURFACTION (4) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 4f190yards at Swan Hill in a tougher race. Has plenty of upside so he is worth following up. BOULDER JACK (1) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when seventh over 5f at Seymour a week-and-a-half ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. NEVER LET ME GO (7) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5f at Pakenham Synthetic. Suitably placed to crack the maiden win. HELLS EMPIRE (6) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in contention on the corner before being beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 5f at Wangaratta. Fitter so expect a better run this time.
