THE WOKE WAITER (2) finished third over 1m1f at Casterton at his most recent appearance on August 11. Rates highly and should take some beating. RHODESIAN RED (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 6½f at Avoca, beaten 8 lengths into eighth. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is set to turn things around. SMOKIN' COD (11) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when eighth in a 6f contest at Balranald a week-and-a-half ago. Nicely placed to take this out. GHOST DOCTOR (3) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 7f at Wodonga after he was well back on straightening. Suitably placed so anticipating a bold performance.
