DANCING DUCK (13) scored two starts ago at Wodonga then struggled against stiffer opposition last time when fifth over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, beaten 5 lengths. Ideally placed to return to form. THUNDER FORCE (6) broke his maiden three starts back and has not been far away since, most recently when beaten 2.25 lengths into second over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla. Among the leading chances again. SAMURAI STAR (3) finished third last time over 1m at Swan Hill, beaten 1.4 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. BANNOCKBURN (4) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1m at Benalla to finish 0.9 lengths from the winner in third. Lachlan King goes well on this six-year-old and is back on top. Must be respected.
