SERIAL OFFENDER (12) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time then found the line strongly to finish third over 5f at Canberra. Will be tough to hold out. KERMANDIE RIVER (2) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in sixth over 6½f at this track. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. SHADOW BLACK (5) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth after being prominent at the corner. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. DIVRON (4) balanced up towards the tail off a low draw last time then ran on hard into third over 5f at Gundagai. Solid top-three prospects.
