CHEDDLETON (1) received a warm-up for the new season hurdling resuming after an eleven month absence with a fourth at Carlisle in a competitive handicap hurdle. Switches to fences and rates a top chance despite the high weight. REAL STONE (4) returns after a break with a good fourth at Aintree. Improvement expected for fitness. Firmly in the mix. PAY THE PIPER (2) produced a better performance when third against a small field at Kelso. Holds each way claims. FEARLESS (5) is a top-three contender following two good placings in lower graded events. Not to be dismissed.
