DAVE THE KING (1) finished a 19 length 14th when resuming last start over 1m in the G2 Gauteng Charity Mile at this track. Second up record is sound. Can break through here. THE SPECIALIST (6) finished eighth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at Turffontein Inside, beaten 5.5 lengths. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. UNZEN (2) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but missed the frame most recently when 13th over 7¼f at Group 2 level at Turffontein Inside. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Will be in this for a long way. MERCANTOUR (5) ran below expectations last start, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths at Turffontein Inside over 1m. Nicely placed to turn things around.
