ROAMING SPIRIT (8) was well fancied when resuming last start over 5¾f at this track when second, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Has a good association with Raymond Danielson with a run of three top-three results. Bold showing expected. GREEN SAPPHIRE (12) is back after a break of six-and-a-half months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 6f at Turffontein Inside. Good chance to break through. GERBERA (11) had support on debut last time out when she boxed on fairly to finish fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths over 6f at Vaal. Not to be discounted. GREEN STREET (13) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second over 6f at Vaal. Can figure in the finish.
