RUN FOR COVER (9) scored at this track last time out with a long neck in reserve at the end of 7¼f. Has three wins here. Has a high cruising speed. Best figures should see him run well. WE ARE THE LOGANS (2) finished fourth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 2.25 lengths over 7f at Vaal. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. WILLOW EXPRESS (6) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 1m at this track, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to score again. SOUTHERN BLAZE (8) last raced when successful by a neck over 7f at Turffontein Standside ten weeks ago. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
