Group 2 winner DYCE (1) is in a purple patch of form with his third straight win coming last time out over 5¾f in the G3 Merchants at this track. Far too good last time out and will take beating again. Group 3 winner MRS BROWNING (6) was sent out favourite last time and scored by 1.3 lengths over this trip in Group 3 class at this track. Is yet to miss the frame in three starts over this course and distance. Rates highly and can measure up. CHYAVANA (7) is overdue for a win with two recent placings, the latest finishing third over 7f81yards at Vaal, and is down in the weights this time. Form at this distance is strong with five wins from nine starts and is capable of going well. Group 2 winner COLD FACT (2) returns from a lay-off of 12 weeks. Was safely held at the only appearance last prep when seventh over 5f at Turffontein Inside. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Solid claims on best form.
