ROMEUS (13) is a 20-start maiden who could only manage to finish eighth at his latest appearance over 7f at Eagle Farm. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. QUOTHQUAN (1) is back after a break of four-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished seventh over 7f at Eagle Farm. Good effort to kick-off last prep when in the money at Eagle Farm over 6f. Placed in a recent trial. Set for a bold return. MYSTIC MAC (6) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Doomben over 6f, beaten 3.5 lengths. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. INSPIRED DREAM (10) is going well with three minor placings from four starts this campaign. Produced another good performance at her most recent run when second over 6f at Toowoomba. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
