BOYFRIEND MATERIAL (7) really dug deep to score by 0.8 lengths three runs back at Delta Downs (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Has a high cruising speed. Best figures should see him run well. AVALON KING (1) did a great job to score by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Finds another suitable race and can figure in the finish. MACEDONIAN RULER (2) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3 lengths when fifth over 1m at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Likely improver with strong prospects. MR NAVIGATOR (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at this track (Turf), beaten 2.25 lengths. Ready to go a couple better.
