PHILBIN ROAD (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Mountaineer Park. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can get the job done. BAILS HIM OUT (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Golden Gate Fields, beaten 5.5 lengths into fifth. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. FULL BORE (8) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage fifth over 5f at this track (Dirt). Top-three chance on best figures. JOHN'S KID (7) was beaten 26 lengths into fifth over 1m at this track last time out. No surprise to see him in the mix.
