BEST OF MAHER (11) doesn't win out of turn but left a good impression last time out when beaten half a length into third over 7f at Tamworth. Can run well again and take this out. FINANCE PARTNER (10) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish ninth, beaten 3.5 lengths, last start over 6¾f at Wyong. Will push forward and is among the chances. THE YOUNG YEARS (8) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish second last time out over 1m at this track.
