BOSSED UP (2) is having his first run since January 27. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 5f at Sunshine Coast at the start of last prep. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Doomben trial. Has found the right race to kick off the campaign. DEVASTATING (3) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when sixth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5½f at Doomben after he got a long way back. Should be peaking now and is a key runner. PORT ERIN (11) scored last start at Gold Coast to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. Has a strong record at this journey with two wins and a placing from four starts and must be respected.
