TAKARENGO (7) has not been seen hurdling since a downfield effort in the Pertemps at the Cheltenham Festival. Now drops to an attractive mark having teed himself up for this with an encouraging fourth over 2 ¹⁄₁₆m attempting the flat on Wednesday. TRUE DESTINY (19) maintained excellent hurdle form earlier in the summer and could have more to offer tackling this trip. Makes for some appeal after a run on the flat here Friday. SUMMER TIDE (10) is another to have been kept away from hurdles for some time. Any market moves must be noted representing shrewd connections. The lightly-raced CALL THE TUNE (11) also is of note switching back from fences to hurdles for the Barry Connell team.
