SEA MIST (6) returns from a layoff of four months. Scored over 5f at Terang at the start of last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race. THINKING OF GERTY (3) is a talented mare who has been in the money at both appearances. Last appeared when she finished second over 5f at Seymour on May 31. Has a high cruising speed. Likely to feature. BURNING THE CLOCK (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 5½f at Wodonga, beaten 5 lengths into eighth. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. DIAMATTI (14) finished fourth last start over 6f at Bairnsdale after racing on the pace for much of the way. Cannot be underestimated.
