Looks all set to kick the campaign off the right way. PIETRO ROAD (5) has started twice, missing the frame on debut then doing a better job to finish second last time, beaten half a length over 5f at Seymour. Close to a win and should go well. ATTABOOM (1) as prominent through the early and middle stages last time out before fading to finish sixth over 7f at Ballarat Synthetic. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. One of the main contenders. COOL CHARLIE (3) remains a maiden after 10 runs. Had plenty of admirers last time and finishing a close second over 5f at Bairnsdale. Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and is one of the better hopes.
