That followed a win at this track the start prior. Has the class to figure prominently. SHADOW SHOT (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle. Expected to be in this for a long way. MY GEM (8) strode forward early from her wide draw last start over 1m1 1/2f at Armidale only to fade late and finish fourth. Will push forward and is among the chances. No surprise to see her in contention.
