SMILE MON (1) returned from a lay-off two months ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into sixth over 1m1/2f at Gulfstream Park. Strips fitter and can figure prominently. CERTIFIED LOVERBOY (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when sixth over 1m at Aqueduct, beaten 9 lengths. Finds an easier assignment and can salute. ROUTE RUNNER (9) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park, beaten 4.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run. PRESIDER (2) ran below expectations last start, finishing 12th and beaten 10 lengths at Turfway Park (Synthetic) over 1m. Nicely placed to bounce back.
