LITTLE SANDY (9) comes here off a break of ten weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Werribee. Now under the care of new trainer Helen Burns. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. GLOCK (1) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 2 lengths away in fourth over 5f at Bendigo. Sure to take running down. THE WAYFARER (2) was well fancied last start over 5f at Broken Hill when second, beaten 5 lengths. Change of jockey to Madison Lloyd who has a strong record when aboard with a win and three placings from four rides. Expected to measure up. FROWNED (7) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 2.75 lengths over 6f at Mildura. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
