Likely to have come on over the break so she is a leading contender. WHAT A WEEKEND (8) was in the money two starts back at this track but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 7 lengths, at Eagle Farm over 7f after being in contention on the turn. Faces an easier assignment so he is a major player. NIGHTSTICK (5) finds it hard to win with two victories from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at Gold Coast, beaten 3.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. BETTER BE NORDY (1) turned in another moderate effort last start when 8 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6½f at Toowoomba. Better than recent efforts suggest.
