OUT OF ACES (1) recorded a strong maiden win over 1m1/4f at Doomben last time, getting there by 1.75 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tricky draw to overcome but he is a key runner. THE TORQUE FACTOR (17) scored in a at this track but was below his best last time when fifth over 6¾f at Doomben. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. MINGARDOS (4) was far from disgraced when fifth last start after being in contention on the turn over 1m1f at this track, beaten 2.75 lengths. That followed a win at Doomben the start prior. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. KAIROS LOUIE (2) was prominent at the turn and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m at Eagle Farm, beaten half a length. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role.
