CHAPARRAL CHASE (6) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 7f at this track when second, beaten one length. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so he will be hard to beat. NAGAMIE (1) returns after 18 months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 6¾f at Ipswich. Should be forward enough following four recent trials. Ready to find winning form. BOOM CRUSHER (5) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 7f at Dalby. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. CHIARO DI LUNA (9) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 7 lengths into ninth at her latest appearance over 7f at Gatton. Should be poised just off the lead. One of the better hopes.
