RUSTIC BOOM (5) was not disgraced in city class last time when seventh at Doomben but back to home course this time. Will find this easier than last start. Leading contender. PORT ERIN (7) closed too well to score by 1.75 lengths last time out over 5f at Gold Coast at the second run this prep. Impossible to fault this time in work. BULSARA (2) stuck on well last start to finish third over 5¾f at Gold Coast Poly after showing good early speed. In the right race and is a key runner. I AM VOODOO (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 5¼f at Gold Coast Poly after missing the placings at the previous appearance. This looks a good race for him and he is one of the key runners.
