FLY FIFER (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at this track over 1m after being in contention all the way. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. RHUVAAL (2) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 6½f at this track. Will drift back but will be getting home hard. HE'S A SAINT (7) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6½f at Toowoomba when second, beaten 3 lengths. Breaks from a wide draw but another bold showing is expected. OUR ESPRIT (5) finished third last time over 5f32yards at Gympie, beaten 3.5 lengths. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field.
