BURDEKIN BOY (8) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Eagle Farm when third, beaten 1.5 lengths. Nicely drawn so a big run is anticipated. DEFERENTIAL (1) lines up for the first time since October 25. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5f at this track. Has switched to the J W Healy stable. Has ability and should be right in the finish. SIERRA DE GREDOS (4) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Adam Campton stable. Resumes after finishing fourth at Werribee at his last run seven months ago. Ran sixth in a trial over 5¼f at Deagon and is in a nice race. Leading player expected to feature. PINKUS (11) raced on the speed when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¼f at Doomben but couldn't finish the job and wound up in sixth, 4.5 lengths from the winner. Should take a lot from that last outing. Will find this easier than last start. Best figures stack up nicely.
