BYZANTINE EMPIRE (1) has been inconsistent recently but holds a good record at this track and his rider takes off a handy 7lbs. Worth chancing. Former stable companion ELHAM VALLEY (2) switched yards after winning a Stratford seller. This demands more but he remains competitively handicapped on old form. SERGEANT WILSON (4) is not always the easiest of rides. His February maiden hurdle win at Fakenham rates well. POLYPHONIC (6) was pulled up when last seen in May. Changing yards might have freshened him.
