HAYAI MESU (6) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks, finishing fourth and beaten 2.25 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. MATALIK (9) finished 2.25 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1m1f at Morphettville. Looks suited first time at this trip and among the winning hopes. THINK TANK (4) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1m4 1/2f at Murray Bridge after being in the firing line on the corner. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MERCURY FLYER (2) won at Gawler two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing sixth over 1m2f at Naracoorte. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
