DIAMOND DISCOVERY (1) showed good early speed and raced just off the lead before lifting to score by 0.6 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Goulburn last start. Sure to measure up again. BRIEF SONG (6) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m1 1/2f at Newcastle. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. ALPINE KANDY (7) returns from a layoff of ten weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 1m at Goulburn. Lines up. For the first time for trainer annabel neasham & rob archibald. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. UP AND COMER (3) drifted well back last start before winding up strongly to finish third, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1m1f at Hawkesbury. Solid top-three prospects.
