JEWELLERY (8) ran on strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off as favourite last start over 5½f at Canterbury. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Goes up a rung or two but she is good enough to make a serious impact. Group 3 placegetter BOJANGLES (1) is racing well, scoring in a at Hawkesbury before finishing 1.75 lengths from the winner in second last time over 7f in the G3 Hawkesbury Guineas. Can return to winning ways. MIDNIGHT OPAL (2) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing seventh in the LR South Pacific Classic at Randwick and beaten 1.75 lengths. This is far easier. Should be involved in the finish. SILVANITO (6) was out of the placings last time over 7f at Randwick but is a stronger performer at the third run back from a lay-off. Top-three contender.
