KISS THE COLOURS (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 5f at Queanbeyan. Rates highly and will be hard to peg back. FIRST GRANGE (13) got well back over 5f at this track last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 10 lengths away in sixth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. BEAU ROCK (4) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race when he worked home well and finished 2 lengths away in fourth last time out over 5f at Moruya. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ZIPITALIST (6) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign to finish 2 lengths from the winner in third over 5f at Goulburn. Another forward showing is anticipated.
