Arkansas Derby winner MUTH (5) scored by 2 lengths when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m in Listed grade at Del Mar (Dirt). Excellent record here having never missed the placings in four starts, including three wins and one placing. Expect a bold showing. Group 2 winner SENOR BUSCADOR (6) finished 6 lengths away in fourth last time out over 7f at Del Mar when when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Will give backers a great sight. Santa Anita Handicap winner NEWGATE (1) comes here off a break of six months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6½f at this track. One to consider.
