A competitive staying contest.Knentii (4) will be close to peak fitness and has more to give over the longer distance.Rates strongly at best and on a 9-day return can secure the run of the race.Flying pharoah (3) was beaten a lip twice this trip and then raced favourite at ballarat over longer and things didn't work out.Peaks now and is worth another chance.Mandino (5) was also well-beaten in the same contest.Can secure a soft run and will be better back to this trip.It's my party (9) didn't get into it from a wide gate at the latest.Was tracking well prior and is worth a look having her first go at a staying trip.
