Group 2 winner BERKELEY SQUARE (5) broke through for a win last start when second up from a lay-off, scoring by one length over 1m1/2f at Flemington. Has scope for improvement so he is sure to feature in the finish. INDEPENDENT ROAD (11) was prominent through the early and middle stages but peaked on his run and finished fourth when resuming over 7½f at Moonee Valley last start. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will give a great sight. Group 2 placegetter KEATS (9) hasn't been far away lately, beaten 1.5 lengths at his most recent appearance when fourth over 1m1/2f at Flemington. Should be prominent from the outset. Capable of testing this field. Group 3 winner KING MAGNUS (6) progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 1m1/2f at Flemington after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
