MISLEAD (1) is a distance specialist who missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.2 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at Flemington after being in contention on the bend. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. LA CASONA (3) wound up strongly last time out to finish 0.8 lengths adrift in second over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside when fresh from a lay-off. Should be poised just off the lead. Expecting a bold showing. HOT PURSUIT (11) recorded her first win last start over 7½f at Cranbourne, getting home by 1.5 lengths. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade. STELLAR MOFEED (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in third over 7f32yards at Geelong. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
