SIMEON (1) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by a nose last time out over 7½f at Cranbourne. Goes well at this trip, recording four minor placings and is a leading contender. AIMING (6) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fourth beaten 3 lengths at Sandown-Hillside over 1m1f. Overdue for a win and will give backers a sight. THINKING RAIN (9) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then progressed nicely last time out to score by a long neck as favourite over 7f at Pakenham. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to cope. . Turned in a better run last time when third, beaten 1.2 lengths, at Geelong over 7f. Will find this tougher but cannot be underestimated.
