LA CATRINA MARY (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in third over 1f31yards at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EL ROJO SUNSET (8) last appeared when he finished seventh over 2f at Ruidoso Downs (Dirt) on August 13. Lines up. For the first time for trainer arnold lewis. One of the genuine hopes in the race. MOONIN THE ACE (1) turned in a solid run when resuming last start over this course and distance, finishing second and beaten only 0.1 lengths. Hasn't broken through over this course and distance but has managed three minor placings. One to consider. LIL COOL JEWELS (10) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1f80yards at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths into eighth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
