Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. MAGADAN (2) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished second, beaten 2.2.5 lengths, over 1m3/4f at this track. Genuine performer so he is among the leading chances. REAL ALLIANCE (3) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2.5 lengths away in third over 7f at Pakenham. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent form.
