DRIFT NET (11) went forward last start over 6½f at this track and held on well for second, beaten 0.6 lengths. Must raise the bar but she has the ability to test this field. CAPTAIN AMELIA (7) scored a barnstorming win last start over 6¼f at Canterbury, coming from the tail to get up by a head. Comes here in the right frame of mind so she will prove tough to beat. PIPPIE BEACH (5) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 7f at Newcastle. Facing a tougher assignment but should be involved in the finish. REDBREAST (9) is back from a six-and-a-half months lay-off and she does run well when resuming, including a win over 7f at Randwick Kensington at the start of last prep. Placed in a recent trial. Worth plenty of thought.
