ROMAN REIGN (6) was a tough winner of her last start at the recent Esk picnic meeting a fortnight ago and she is still on the up with her fitness. She has a good record on this track and all of her three career wins have come over 1200 metres. She only has to carry a kilo more after the claim and can win again. MIDNIGHT BOOM (8) got up late to score on the polytrack at the Gold Coast last time out and is drawn to get the run of the race here. She will benefit from a three-kilo claim and can double the dose. BEST SONG (1) has been mixing her form and is backing up a week after finishing fifth last start. She has not missed a cheque in two starts on this track and Paul Hamblin is always a bonus in the saddle. Each-way value.
